DDL WEEKEND: Card Reveals, Tournament Winner, KICK Recognition!

DDL TCG Weekend Summary – August 22–23, 2026

The Doginal Dogs Legends community had a packed weekend of card reveals, the first official online tournament, streaming infrastructure wins, and new official resources. There is never a day off in the world of DDL!

DDL CARD REVEALS GALORE

Three new Rise of the Pack cards dropped:

- Manic (V066, Neutral Creature) — revealed by Gator! Described as one of the toughest cards to counterplay.

- Tidal Wave (V111) — revealed by Rus. A board-clear style effect that quickly became a community favorite.

- Mama Light (V048, Bow Creature) — revealed by RealMj. Strong engagement followed with quotes and deck discussion.

First Online DDL Tournament

Home and the Kennel DAO crew ran the first DDL online tournament / Deck Measuring Contest on Saturday.

Shock took the win; top players earned free entry into the next paid event.

DDL Kick Recognition

After a community email campaign led by Kush, Low confirmed Doginal Dogs Legends (DDL TCG) is now an official category on Kick! Streamers were immediately encouraged to start using it.

Official Rules Live

The website added a full Rules tab at ddltcg.com/rules. It covers the 40-card format, 40 Hero HP, five creature lanes, kill-gate combat, keywords (Taunt, Rush, Poison, Fury, Frozen), classes, and timing. Physical play focus with clear table setup.

Overall: strong positive momentum with new cards, competitive play, better discoverability for streams, and official rules now public. The pack is locked in.
