DDL UPDATE: Champ Revealed + First Public Strategy Guide

August 16 delivered another clean card reveal for Doginal Dogs Legends.

Champ Revealed!

Order revealed Champ (V030) from the first edition set Rise of the Pack. The post quickly picked up strong engagement.

Bark called it “such a dope card.” Bailey amplified the drop. Devin broke down the card’s value, noting its 4 attack and haunt effect that draws a card when removed. Rock kept it simple with “The Champ Is Here!”

Devin gave one of the clearer early reads on the card, noting that Champ hits hard at 4 attack and carries a haunt effect that draws a card when he leaves the board — giving him value even after he’s removed. He also called out the strong hero shot on the artwork.

Rock kept it simple and direct, posting “The Champ Is Here!” and calling it a Legendary Card.

Strategy Resource

Mac opened up his @DDLTCG strategy and starter guide to everyone. It includes card balance history, starter decks with play guides, a card explorer, and overall strategy for newer players. The guide had been password-gated until the beta opened more widely.

Community Energy

Hofers stayed active, reacting to Champ and talking about building his own DDL deck while expressing clear hype for the full launch.

Another card is public. Early strategy resources are starting to appear. DDL continues moving in public.
